Israel Ganz, head of the Yesha Council and the Binyamin Regional Council, met on Tuesday with outgoing New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who is currently visiting Israel.
During the meeting, Ganz presented Adams with a unique piece of art crafted from fragments of an Iranian missile that struck the Binyamin region during Operation Rising Lion.
Ganz expressed the deep appreciation of the settlement movement for Adams’s support. “He is a true friend of the communities,” he said.
“He stood against antisemitism and stood by our side during the days of war,” Ganz continued. “I thanked him for his steadfast support of the settlements and the State of Israel, and told him he will be greatly missed. Thank you, on behalf of all of Judea and Samaria.”
