At the initiative of the Ariel Police Station, a special demonstration was held on Wednsday in honor of the son of fallen police officer Elad Winklestein, who was tragically killed in a terror attack in the village of Funduq.

The event brought together the Israel Dog Unit, a nonprofit specializing in working dogs, along with teams from the Israel Police, Fire and Rescue Services, United Hatzalah, and other emergency organizations.

It featured demonstrations of operational capabilities, including working dogs and drones, showcasing the coordinated efforts and capabilities of Israel’s security and rescue forces.

The Mayor of Karnei Shomron, Yonatan Kuzniz, also participated in this emotional event to honor Elad's family, especially his son Naveh. Naveh was in the vehicle with his father at the time of the attack, but remained calm enough to call for help and report the attack to his mother using his father's phone.
