Fallen IDF reservist Master Sergeant (res.) Abraham Azulay's excavator returned to destroy terrorist structures in the Gaza Strip on Monday, not far from where he fell.
The excavator, which Azulay purchased himself, will now serve other soldiers. Abraham's brother, Mordechai, told Arutz Sheva that at the onset of the war, his brother decided to leave his job and join the engineering operations in Gaza. "It nearly closed by business, but it was very important to him. He bought an excavator with his own money. He destroyed thousands of buildings with his peers, at the beginning with the Uria Squad, and later with his own excavator. It was very important to him to destroy Gaza; he felt that it was his mission. He did it with all his might.
"My brother Abraham was a hero," added Mordechai, "He destroyed hundreds of houses in Gaza, it was his goal in this war, to destroy the enemy's houses, so they won't have anywhere to return. There was a tough ambush; they didn't manage to cover them, and unfortunately, Abraham fell after struggling with the terrorists. He was alone for a long time. Just like we know him - always a hero. Thank G-d, thanks to his heroism, they didn't manage to capture him."
