The official logo for the central torch-lighting ceremony at Mount Herzl, which marks the 77th anniversary of the State of Israel, has been officially unveiled. The new design reflects the theme for this year's ceremony—"Bridges of Hope"—symbolizing the connections and shared aspirations among the diverse sectors of Israeli society.

The logo incorporates a graphic fusion of the Star of David and the number 77, depicted as a dual-sided bridge radiating beams of light—an emblem intended to convey hope and optimism for the future. The number is rendered in yellow, serving as both a tribute to the hostages and a powerful expression of the national yearning for their swift and safe return from captivity in Gaza.

Minister of Transportation Miri Regev, who also heads the organizing committee for the 77th Independence Day celebrations, remarked: "This logo represents far more than a mere visual design. It is a declaration that, despite our differences and the pain we have endured, there remains a profound unity that binds us together."

She further stated: "The logo underscores the strengthening of our shared foundations—unity, connection, and the collective hope of Israeli society. It also embodies the deep longing felt by the entire nation for the prompt return of the hostages."

The torch-lighting ceremony is one of the most symbolic and widely viewed events during Israel's Independence Day festivities, and the unveiling of the logo marks the beginning of a series of preparations leading up to the national celebration.
