The Hostages and Missing Persons Families Forum headquarters stated: "Last night (Sat 25/11), on the 50th day since our loved ones were kidnapped to Gaza, families addressed a crowd of 100,000 at Hostages Plaza, made it clear that there is no victory until the return of every last hostage."
Alon Adar, granddaughter of Yaffa Adar who was released yesterday from Hamas captivity, commented: "My grandmother has already asked to come today to the rally to support you. She is looking at you from the hospital and is proud of our amazing nation. She asks that we bring everyone home now."
Sharon Sharabi whose two brothers Yossi (53) and Eli (51) were kidnapped, commented: "My brothers Yossi and Eli were kidnapped on Black Saturday from Kibbutz Be'eri. We must bring everyone home now. We have no other window of opportunity. We have no other choice."
Orna and Ronen Neutra, parents of Omer Neutra (22) who was kidnapped from the Nova festival commented: "Omer grew up in a Jewish school in the US and made Aliyah after finishing his studies in order to serve the country. He enlisted in the armored corps and felt the comradery of soldiers. On that terrible Saturday, reality was turned upside down for us. An abyss opened inside us that cannot be filled. We will continue to fight to return Omer and his new family, the family of the hostages."
Asif, Bar, Gal, and Dekel Goren - children of Maya Goren (56), kidnapped from kibbutz Nir Oz, commented: "This deal gives us hope for the release of our loved ones. It must be emphasized that this is only the beginning and the struggle will not end until everyone comes home."
Shoval Gal, girlfriend of Ofir Tzarfati kidnapped from the party in Re'im, commented: "Ofir was kidnapped to Gaza while trying to flee the party when he was injured. Who decided that men are at the bottom of the list for release? The cabinet cannot allow this. They broke his heart on October 7th, cabinet members did not stand guard and allowed terrorists to massacre our loved ones. You will not rest or lift your heads up until everyone comes home – everyone including everyone. This is the mission of your lives. Look the hostages in the eyes and do not forget them or leave them behind."
Abie Moses, Chairperson of the Victims of Terrorism Organization, whose pregnant wife and son were burned to death by a terrorist in 1987, commented: "My wife Ofra was burned before my eyes while she was pregnant, and three months later my little son and was also murdered. I did not for a moment let terror defeat us. From my personal pain, I look to the families of the hostages whose loved ones have not returned and are trapped in a nightmare. I say this clearly and strongly – no Israeli child should have to go to sleep underground in Hamas captivity. Release them now."
Shaykh Mowafaq Tarīf, the spiritual leader of the Druze community in Israel, commented:
"It is difficult to express in words what is happening. The heart breaks in the face of inconceivable pain. We were excited with the families of the hostages who returned, but thoughts remain with the rest of the hostages held in the Gaza Strip. At the sight of the pictures of the child hostages, eyes well up with tears. How can one harm an innocent and pure child? How can one hurt innocent women? Good, peace-loving people? This is the depths of inhumanity and an abyss of darkness and hatred. The Druze stand behind all the hostages. We feel your pain and identify with the terrible suffering you face. We share common values of human love and the sanctity of life. Unfortunately, there are some among us who think otherwise and do not value us. I want to strengthen your hands and I pray to the Creator of the World to return all the hostages home healthy and whole. Your struggle is a just and human struggle for all of us. The return of all the hostages is an unparalleled moral imperative. I call upon world leaders to do everything possible to complete this human act they have begun and bring all the hostages home. Soldiers and civilians alike. Together we will succeed in bringing all the hostages home."
