Nadia Matar, co-chair of the Sovereignty Movement, spoke to Arutz Sheva-Israel National News on Tuesday during an emergency demonstration outside the International Stabilization Force base at the Kerem Shalom Crossing, calling for an end to aid entering Gaza and opposing the reconstruction of the enclave before Hamas is destroyed.
Pointing to trucks carrying humanitarian aid at the crossing, Matar said, "Look at the trucks! Those are trucks that are now, in a minute, going to Hamas. Those trucks are full of food, full of goodies, and who knows, maybe weapons."
"They're going to Hamas, and we came to scream together with all the organizations: Stop this insanity, stop the rebuilding of Hamas," she continued. "Do not allow foreign forces to come into Gaza."
Matar argued that the proper course of action is "to destroy Hamas, to expel all the Gazans," and to "return Jewish, Israeli sovereignty and settlement in Gaza."
"Gaza is an integral part of the Land of Israel," she stated.
Referring to the agreement concerning Gaza, Matar warned that, in her view, what followed the October 7 massacre was now being reversed.
"What happened on October 7th is now being rebuilt, God forbid, with this horrible agreement, the 15 points, where they not only rebuild Hamas, they are going towards a Palestinian state," she said.
"We are here to say, stop the insanity. Gaza has to be Jewish again, not a Palestinian state, sovereignty from the river to the sea."
Matar again pointed to the trucks passing through the area. "Look what's going on, look! All those trucks, all those trucks are going to Hamas. We have become insane. That is so crazy."
She charged that those responsible for the October 7 massacre were being rewarded by the plan.
"Those who murdered, those who killed, those who beheaded, those who raped, are being rewarded by the Trump plan, 15 points," she said. "And we call upon the government of Israel: Stop it. Cancel the agreement and bring back Gaza in Jewish, Israeli hands."
Matar also called to "expel the Arab enemy, expel the Gazans, destroy Hamas and Fatah in Judea and Samaria."
"There is no difference between the two of them," she added.
Concluding, Matar noted the large number of protesters who had traveled to the area to participate in the demonstration.
"Here we are with so many people who drove very, very far away at the border of Egypt and Gaza, and look at this march of folly. This is a march of folly," she said.
"This has to be stopped."
Residents of the Gaza envelope, together with activists from the Tzav 9 movement and Otef Israel Forum, held the emergency demonstration outside the International Stabilization Force base at the Kerem Shalom Crossing to protest the plan to allow the force to enter Gaza and begin reconstruction before the full demilitarization of the enclave and disarmament of the Hamas terrorist organization.
Protesters blocked the road at the crossing, preventing trucks carrying humanitarian aid from passing.
