Government representative for the families of hostages and the missing Brigadier General(Res.) Gal Hirsch requested media outlets on Thursday not to publish the list of the hostages who were expected to be released by Hamas until they arrived in Israel.

"We ask from the media not to publish the list of names until the hostages return to Israel," the Prime Minister's office stated in Hirsch's name.

The statement noted following the announcement that the list of the names of the hostages who will be the first to be released in the first stage of the deal, officers notified all of the families whose loved ones appeared on the list and all of the hostages' families.

"We will update additional reliable information as needed. We ask to refrain from spreading rumors and unofficial information," the statement added.

A spokesperson for Qatar’s Foreign Ministry announced this afternoon (Thursday) that the ceasefire, which Israel agreed to as part of the hostage deal with the Hamas terrorist organization, will go into effect at 7 am tomorrow morning (Friday).

Majed Al-Ansari said that the Qatari government had received lists of the people who will be released from both sides.

"The first group of 13 civilians will be released from captivity in the Gaza Strip tomorrow at 4 pm," he said.
