Three people were lightly injured Saturday night after Gaza terrorists fired a barrage of rockets at Israeli communities in central Israel.

In Holon, a man in his 50s was injured by smoke inhalation, while in Tel Aviv and Yehud two people were injured on their way to a protected space. In Kiryat Ono and Ramat Gan, six people were treated for shock.

In addition, rocket shrapnel fell on a private home, but did not cause injuries.

Earlier on Saturday, a home in Be'er Sheva and a home in Kiryat Ono were hit by rockets. In both cases, damage was caused but no one was injured.

Also on Saturday, sirens sounded for the first time since the Simchat Torah holiday near the southern city of Dimona. Following this, Hamas claimed to have fired rockets towards the city, which is home to a nuclear research center.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant (Likud), and Minister Benny Gantz (National Unity) will hold a joint press conference on Saturday night at 8:30p.m.. During the press conference, the three will answer questions - for the first time since the war began three weeks ago.
