Following criticism regarding the lack of Diplomiatic-Security Cabinet meetings, the Prime Minister's Office on Wednesday night scheduled meetings of the Cabinet until the end of December.

Kan News reported that according to the notices sent to the Cabinet ministers, the forum will meet on July 16, and following this will meet once a month.

The Cabinet has met only a handful of times since the government was formed earlier this year - despite the fact that in the interim there have been two military operations, in Gaza and Jenin, in addition to the Air Force activities in Syria and the Mossad's activities in Iran.

Recently, the Israeli government has taken criticism for the Cabinet's lack of meetings and the fact that the Jenin operation did not receive Cabinet approval. In fact, due to its limited scope, the operation did not require Cabinet approval.

A notice sent to Likud members at the beginning of June read, "Not every elimination and action requires the Cabinet to gather, especially not those for which there is a need to maintain secrecy."
