
United Hatzalah Paramedic Yaron Schiff was injured on Friday night as he was making his way to attend to the wounded from the terror attack at the Tel Aviv Promenade.
Yaron was very close to the scene at the time that the terrorist rammed his car into innocent pedestrians. He rushed to the scene to save others, and all of the vehicles on the road stopped to let him pass, but he was hit by an oncoming bicycle that was traveling southbound quickly towards Jaffa in a hit-and-run incident.
Yaron was sent flying, was very severely injured, and was taken to Sheba Hospital, where underwent complex surgeries.

In the attack, a 36-year-old Italian tourist was murdered by a 45-year-old terrorist from Kfar Qassem. Three additional tourists were moderately injured, and four were lightly injured.
A 74-year-old man, a 39-year-old man, and a 17-year-old girl were moderately injured, and a 54-year-old man, a 70-year-old woman, a 31-year-old man, and a 27-year-old woman were lightly injured and were taken to Ichilov and Wolfson Hospitals to receive medical care.
The investigation into the incident found that the terrorist traveled southbound near the Charles Clore Promenade, mounted the sidewalk, and hit tourists at the scene. After this, he continued to drive down the bicycle lane and lost control of the vehicle. After he flipped over with the vehicle, he was neutralized by a police officer who witnessed the attack and rushed to the scene. Tel Aviv municipal inspectors also assisted in the neutralization.
