Three protesters from the "Yom Kippur 1973 Warriors" group were detained for questioning on Saturday after they allegedly towed an old armored personnel carrier without permission to the entrance of Kibbutz Degania in the Galilee, where some 300 demonstraters protested the government's planned judicial reform.

The protesters hung a large poster with Israel's Declaration of Independence on the vehicle.

After several hours, the chairman of Kibbutz Gesher, from where the vehicle was taken, ordered the protesters to return the vehicle, and at the end, they announced they would return it to its place.

On Thursday, police stopped a protest procession near Mishmar Hayarden in northern Israel after a few protesters stole a Yom Kippur War-era tank and towed it as part of the procession.

Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology Ofir Akunis stated: "They call themselves 'Yom Kippur War warriors' as if all those who fell and fought in this terrible war only voted for the left... And then they disgrace everyone with their stunts which are an embarrassment to intelligence, and they disgrace the memories of those who fell in this terrible war."
