Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara on Thursday published her position on the issue of the judicial reform and demanded that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not involve himself in any way in the proposed reforms due to "conflict of interest" resulting from his own criminal trials.

The coalition, in turn, accused the Attorney General and her associates of acting in a conflict of interest themselves.

MK Ze'ev Elkin (National Unity Party) responded to the coalition's claims, telling Radio 103FM, "That’s a delusional statement. The person who signed the conflict of interest agreement on the legal issues is Benjamin Netanyahu. If the Attorney General sees that he is violating the agreement and does not comment on it - she is failing to do her job."

"Netanyahu wants the reform, it solves his problems. This is no longer the Levin reform, this is the Deri reform," added Elkin.
