Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara was not invited to the first and celebratory meeting of the new government that was held on Thursday evening at the Prime Minister's office in Jerusalem.
Channel 12 News reported that Baharav-Miara's office tried throughout the day to get details of where the meeting would take place, but no one in Netanyahu's office answered them.
Likud stressed in response that Thursday night’s government meeting was purely ceremonial in nature and no decisions will be made at it. "That's why only members of the government participated in it," said the party.
It was later announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Baharav-Miara and the two scheduled a working meeting on Sunday.
