US President Joe Biden exchanged private words with Prime Minister Yair Lapid, Alternate Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, and former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu upon his arrival at Ben Gurion Airport Wednesday afternoon.
Channel 12 News correspondent Yaron Avraham reported that Biden told Bennett: "Man, you did an amazing thing. You showed real courage."
Avraham also reported that Biden told Netanyahu: "You know I love you."
Prime Minister Lapid reportedly told President Biden: "I do not know if you remember but eight years ago we met in your office when you were vice president. You told me that if you had my hair you would be the president of the United States and I told you that if I had your height, I would be the Prime Minister of Israel."
The Prime Minister complimented President Biden on his speech.
