תיעוד הפגיעה ברופא

A Hanukkah miracle occurred at the entrance to Mayanei Hayeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak.

Pediatric cardiologist Dr. David Almalekh was riding his motorbike on his way to work when he stopped at a crosswalk to allow a pedestrian to cross the street. As he stopped, a taxi appeared behind him, rammed into his motorbike, and tossed him a meter and a half (roughly five feet) into the air, with his legs up and head down.

Dr. Almalekh suffered an injury to his upper body as he fell on the street, and suffered an additional injury from the taxi driver, who continued driving without noticing that his front wheel was driving over the doctor.

The second injury hit Dr. Almalekh in his upper body, inches from his head.

The impact of the accident also sent a motorbike flying in the air, hitting a female pedestrian.

By miracle, despite the impact of the collision and the two injuries he suffered, Dr. Almalekh was able to stand on his feet, insisting on walking himself to the emergency room, where he was checked and treated. After a short time, Dr. Almalekh recovered, returning to his work as a doctor and traveling on a business-related trip.
