The suggestion to close the case against former MK Yinon Magal (Jewish Home), has been gaining strength in the past few weeks since the MK stepped down from his position in the Knesset.
Thus far, no formal complaint has been filed against Magal from the women who claimed that he allegedly harassed them. Due to the lack of a formal complaint, the file is likely to be closed.
Channel 2 similarly reported on Sunday night, that the investigation into the claims against former Minister Silvan Shalom (Likud) has also reached a dead end. In Shalom’s case, all of the women who have been questioned by police are refusing to file formal complaints or press charges.
Police have met with four women in Shalom’s case, all of whom have said that they refuse to file charges, and likewise refuse to give testimony in court.
Some of the women have even told police that Shalom should not have left politics.
