The two Arab terrorists who stabbed a young haredi man in Beit Shemesh on Thursday morning have been identified as 20-year-old residents of Surif in the Hevron region of Judea.

One of the terrorists is a member of terror organization Hamas' on campus youth wing, Kutla Islamiya.

The second terrorist was imprisoned between 2012 and 2014 after being caught with a knife at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron.

According to police, both terrorists were wearing t-shirts bearing the symbol of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing.

The two terrorists were neutralized by Beit Shemesh police and Border Police after stabbing the victim outside of a synagogue and close to a bus station in Ramat Beit Shemesh.

Both terrorists were brought to the trauma unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem in Jerusalem; one later succumbed to his wounds while the other is in critical condition, sedated and breathing through a respirator.
