The Syrian military fails to stand up to the attacks by the rebels, who are continually expanding their control over large areas in Northern Syria, including most of the territory of the city of Aleppo.

New videos, which Arutz Sheva will not post due to their graphic content, document the rebel forces conquering the village of Khanasir, located southeast of the city of Aleppo.

This course of action mimics previous operations by the rebels. The rebels began by concentrating forces, at least dozens of well-equipped fighters armed with light and medium weapons and antitank launchers.

By conquering the village held by the Syrian army, the rebels were successful in destroying one of the tanks, and they then killed all of the Syrian soldiers, who had turned the village's cultural center into a local military headquarters.

They Syrian army tried to help the village by hitting the rebels with airstrikes, but these strikes failed to deter the rebel force's decisive assault.

A number of tanks, a mobile cannon and a large quantity of ammunition, including anti-tank missiles, fell into the hands of the rebels.
