
Renowned musician Amir Perelman speaks about his "New Song for Jerusalem" ensemble which brings new life to the world of the Jewish Niggun and Piyut -- traditional-style poetic and musical liturgical creations. The interview, featured on Israeli Salad TV Cultural Magazine #187, includes a song by Perelman.
Perelman, according to his bio, was born in Israel in 1967. During his formative years he was "exposed to different and varied musical influences such as Jazz, Rock, Latin, Indian, Armenian and Mediterannean musical heritage that are reflected in his work. By fusing rhythms and scales from east and west, he has created his own personal sound and style."
