Police began dispersing protesters in Jerusalem after hundreds of demonstrators blocked roads, violently confronted drivers, and damaged vehicles, according to police.
Following the incidents, a police officer declared the gathering a public-order disturbance. Jerusalem District police officers, Border Police officers, and Mavatz (Special Tactical Unit) forces began dispersing the protesters, using crowd-dispersal measures and working to reopen the blocked roads.
