FBI source: The suspect in Washington attempted to pass security with a shotgun

An FBI source told Reuters that the suspect who was apprehended in Washington attempted to pass through security at the venue while armed with a shotgun, and then opened fire at a Secret Service agent. The source added that the officer was wearing a protective vest and is unharmed.
