Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he has instructed the cabinet to open direct negotiations with Lebanon, following repeated appeals from Beirut.
According to the Prime Minister, the talks will focus on disarming Hezbollah and on establishing peace relations between the two countries.
