By a majority of 54 to 47: Communications Law passes first reading

Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi’s bill, which includes broad regulatory reform, passes its first reading. Simultaneously, a bill to anchor the authority of rabbinical courts as arbitrators is approved as well.
