Hamas facilitated video calls between hostages still held captive and their relatives in Israel

The videos calls in which hostages spoke with their family members were facilitated by Hamas, which reached out to the families. The hostages in question are those still in captivity.

Unlike in previous hostage releases, Hamas is now allowing the hostages to contact their families prior to being released.
