Aviram, brother of Master Sergeant Oron Shaul, spoke today to Kan Reshet Bet, on the mixed feelings of the Shaul family, just before the ‘delayed’ funeral.
"A whole decade of disappointment, frustration and failure has finally come to an end. It's not an easy moment for us, this is a sad moment," he said. "At 14:00 we will go to the cemetery and bring Oron to his final resting place. This is tremendous closure for the family. It is very difficult to put in words what we are going through. This is not an ordinary experience. We are not a family who has just been informed that their child has been killed. This is not a happy moment, it's a sad and emotional moment. But Oron is home and that is the most important thing."
