Defense Minister holds discussion ahead of Security Cabinet meeting

In preparation for the security cabinet meeting scheduled for this evening (Sunday, 20 October 2024), Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant is currently holding a discussion on the various efforts undertaken by Israel’s defense establishment to ensure the return of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. The officials attending this briefing: IDF Chief of the General Staff, Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Maj. Gen. Nitsan Alon, Head of the IDF’s Operations Directorate, Head of the IDF’s Intelligence Directorate, Head of the Strategic Affairs Directorate and additional senior officials.
