The IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirmed on Wednesday morning that Sergeant Major Yuval Nir from Kfar Etzion, Capt. (res.) Gavriel Shani from Yakir in Samaria, and Netzer Simchi from Masad in the north, fell in Gaza on Tuesday.
In addition, five soldiers were seriously injured in battles in Gaza on Tuesday. They were evacuated for medical treatment and their families have been notified.
