The Military Intelligence Directorate's National Knowledge and Information Center for the Battle Against Coronavirus on Tuesday morning published its daily report, showing that the coronavirus infection coefficient has dropped to 0.53.

At the same time, 356 new coronavirus cases were diagnosed Monday across Israel, for a 0.9% positivity rate.

Israel has 8,268 active coronavirus cases, including 423 who are in serious condition, 226 in critical condition, and 206 on ventilators - a slight rise from Monday's 201. The country has seen 6,188 deaths from coronavirus.

A total of 5,228,324 Israelis have received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, and 4,741,946 have received the second dose as well.

Under the "Traffic Light Plan," which calculates which cities and towns have high coronavirus infection rates, Israel - for the first time - no longer has any "red" cities.
