Thanks to the widespread coronavirus vaccination campaign, businesses are reopening - and the large prayer gatherings traditionally held on Pesach (Passover) can once again be held - with instruments to help give thanks to G-d for His miracles, and especially for the slowing of the pandemic.

On Tuesday morning, a prayer of thanksgiving will be held at the Southern Wall (near the Western Wall; also a retaining wall of the Temple Mount).

The gathering will be held in conjunction with the Jerusalem municipality, the Organization for Community Rabbis, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Matnasim company which operates community centers, and the Jewish Quarter community administration.

Participating in the prayers will be Chief Rabbi of Tzfat, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu; head of the Tzfat hesder yeshiva, Rabbi Eyal Yaakubovitz; Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion; and Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Aryeh King.

On Wednesday there will be a prayer of thanksgiving at the Cave of the Patriarchs, and on Thursday there will be a gathering at the Abuhav synagogue in Tzfat's Old City.
