State Prosecutor Shai Nitzan believes that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu should be indicted for bribery in the 2000 and 4000 cases, Channel 10 reported Wednesday.

According to the report, Nitzan reached this conclusion following discussions held after the State Prosecution Tax and Finance Department submitted its opinion in the files of cases 1000 and 2000 a month and a half ago.

All opinions are being submitted to the Attorney General, who will eventually decide the matter and determine whether the Prime Minister should be indicted.

A statement on behalf of the prime minister said in response: "The leaks and media pressures are intended this time as well to apply unacceptable pressure to indict Prime Minister Netanyahu at any cost. We are certain that examining the evidence while ignoring the background noise will prove that there was nothing."
