The “Red Alert” incoming rocket siren was heard on Monday evening at around 11:30 p.m. in Ashkelon and in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council.

Locals reported to Arutz Sheva that they heard sounds of explosions of rockets that had been fired from Gaza towards the area.

Two rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile system. No physical injuries or damages were reported.

Earlier on Monday, Gazan terrorists fired a rocket into Israel which exploded in the Eshkol Regional Council, near the Israel-Gaza border. There were no reports of physical injuries or damages.

Following the rocket attack, the IDF attacked terrorist positions belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization in southern Gaza.

On Friday, terrorists in Gaza fired two rockets at Israel. One of the rockets struck a kindergarten in Sderot.

No injuries were reported as the kindergarten was closed at the time.
