A crane collapsed on Sunday morning onto a car in the Neve Yehoshua neighborhood of Ramat Gan, initial reports from the scene said.

Magen David Adom paramedics administered medical aid to the 38-year-old crane operator who had fallen from the crane during its collapse and suffered moderate injuries to his head and limbs.

MDA then transferred the victim to Tel Hashomer Hospital.

In addition, a 31-year-old man was lightly injured and bruised.

MDA paramedic and eyewitness Oded Shinkman said, "We were leaving the hospital and heading back to the MDA station when we saw a crane collapse in front of us. We made our way towards the scene while reporting back to the MDA hotline.

"A 38-year-old man was trapped in the crane. Together with construction workers who were at the site, we managed to help him out while he was still conscious. The victim suffered injuries to his head and limbs.

"We administered first aid and took him in moderate but stable condition to the hospital."

Approximately a month ago, a crane collapsed at a construction site in Bat Yam. Four people were injured, including the crane operator who was severely injured.
