After Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar accused chairman of Ra'am MK Mansour Abbas of committing an “unforgivable crime” of supporting Israel's government, Israeli-Arab mayors defended Abbas.
In a speech on Saturday, Sinwar called out Abbas for, "supporting a government which violates Al-Aqsa..."
"The fact that you are acting as a security blanket for this government is a crime for which you will never be forgiven. You are rejecting your religion, your Arab identity and your national identity," said the Hamas head.
