Yaakov Avinu, whose name ‘Israel’ we so proudly bear, as we learn in our Parasha, truly lived the injunction of the prophet: (Micah 6:8): הצנע לכת עם ה׳ אלקיך:’Walk humbly with Hashem, your G-d’.
