Israeli Ambassador to the United States Gilad Erdan informed Prime Minister Naftali Bennett that he was resigning as Ambassador to the United States.
"It is my opinion that the government's representative to the United States administration should be appointed by the current government," Erdan said. Erdan will remain Ambassador to the United Nations.
