US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke on the phone on Sunday evening with his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid and invited him to Washington.
“During the call I thanked Secretary Blinken for the United States’ unwavering support for Israel,” Lapid wrote on Twitter following the conversation.
