Eight couples who married in the U.S. state of Utah online have petitioned the Supreme Court against Interior Minister Aryeh Deri. The couples had already submitted the marriage documents to the Population Authority, before Deri ordered a freeze on their continued registration.
Kan News reported that in the petition the couples asked the court to order Deri and the Population Authority to register in the Population Registry the marriages of the couples who married through the state of Utah.
