Director General of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Hezi Levi, addressed the possibility of imposing a nightly curfew as suggested by Prime Minister Netanyahu. "The curfew alone will not do the trick. It has to be accompanied by the measures currently in place," he said.

Prof Levi also related to Israel's signing of a deal with Pfizer to procure coronavirus vaccines. "The vaccine will begin arriving in 2021. We have also secured [agreements] with additional companies developing vaccines. It's imperative for citizens to avoid becoming complacent. Pfizer's test results were successful but this is far from over," stated Levi.
