Following his initial telephone conversation with Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, Prime Minister Netanyahu has reportedly spoken with the head of the pharmaceutical another time, and also brought the deputy Attorney-General, Roi Sheindorf, on the line. Pfizer's legal adviser also took part in the call, in a joint attempt to remove all the bureaucratic obstacles to signing an agreement to purchase coronavirus vaccine doses.
Following the discussion, the Prime Minister's Office announced that significant progress had been made, and that it is now expected that the Israeli government will sign an agreement with Pfizer within the next few days.
