Minister of Education Rafi Peretz told a Monday-morning preparation gathering for the new school year that that the school year will open on September 1st.
Rabbi Peretz said, "Everything we're doing these days is in an effort to resolve the crises at hand. I met yesterday with Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and in the evening with the CEO of the Prime Minister's Office, Ronen Peretz. We are working hard and making every effort to come to a solution in the coming days. Our mission is to smoothly open the school year and I tell you we will solve the crisis and the school year will open as usual."
