The Polish government is helping Iranian government bypass sanctions on Iranian oil exports imposed by the United States, according to Onet, the largest Web site in Poland.
A Polish state shipping company received a permit from the Polish Navy Ministry to register six Iranian oil tankers sailing under a Polish flag under its name and could thus bypass American sanctions. The Polish Foreign Ministry claims that it was unaware of the move. A Western source in Warsaw confirmed to Yisrael Hayom that the American administration was furious with the Polish government and was seriously considering imposing heavy sanctions on Warsaw.
