Coalition chairman MK David Bitan responds to verbal attacks by MK Amir Ohana, after he took Ohana's initiative, which would make gender identity discrimination a hate crime, off the agenda for the day.

Bitan: "The options were either to take it off the agenda for the day, or for it to fail in a vote in the Knesset...now Ohana has the chance to convince the ranks of the coalition instead of it failing in the plenum...It is not befitting or dignified for a Likud Knesset member to viciously attack, without cause, another party member who does his work faithfully."
