Unknown assailants have been firing weapons at a resort hotel in Ivory Coast. They have killed six people and taken many hostages, Ynet reports.
The hotel, which is located in the town of Grand-Bassam, is a popular site for Westerners, though Ynet reports that all Israeli officials in the country are safe. It is not clear, however, whether any Israeli citizens were present at the hotel during the attack.
The dead victims were American, French and Lebanese.
Grand-Bassam is about 40 kilometers from the country's largest city Abidjan.
No organization or individual has taken responsibility for the attack as of this time.
