The Deputy Chairwoman of the Council for Higher Education, Prof. Hagit Messer-Yaron, on Tuesday evening resigned from her position at the request of the Chairman of the Council, Minister of Education Naftali Bennett.
Bennett announced, meanwhile, that he would work to appoint a new deputy whose appointment will be brought before the members of the Council for Higher Education for approval.
