British diplomats faced off against Israeli athletes in honor of the Paralympics, which will be held in Britain at the end of the summer. Israel’s Paralymic rowing team raced a British squad that included British Ambassador to Israel Matthew Gould.

Gould wished the athletes “more medals than any other country, except Britain.”

The Access Israel (Negishut Israel) organization was at the event and operated stands allowing spectators to try their hand at dealing with some of the challenges facing the handicapped in Israel. The goal was to raise awareness of the need for handicapped accessibility.
