The Egged and Dan bus companies have lowered bus fares on all Judea, Samaria, and Gaza routes by 50%. The new rates took effect yesterday, and will continue for an experimental period of several months. The frequency of buses on many Yesha routes will also be increased. The Yesha Council explained that this is the government\'s way of attempting to encourage the public to travel on bulletproof buses - but that private cars will continue to travel the roads as well.
