A study by the Herzog Institute for Media at the University of Tel Aviv shows that less than 11% believe the press is hostile to Kadima. 62% are unhappy with media's election coverage in general.

The precise findings of the poll, in which 509 people were interviewed:

* 56.6% say the media likes Kadima.

* 10.8% feel the press is hostile to Kadima.

* 48% feel the media is hostile to the Likud

* 52.6% feel the press is hostile to Shas.

* Just 22% believe the press does not like the Labor Party, while 32% feel that the press actually likes Labor.

The results do not appear to be influenced by one's support for a party, except for Shas. Two-thirds of Shas voters feel the media is hostile to their party, more than the 52.6% of the general public who feel that way. But 45% of Likud voters are paranoiac about their party, which is even less than the rate in the general public.

For Labor and Kadima, as well, the results are about the same: 26% of Labor voters are sensitive to the press coverage of their party, as compared with 22% of the public, and 12.7% of Kadima supporters feel the press is unfair - not significantly different than the 10.8% of the general public.

Almost 10% of those polled feel that publicizing poll results could influence voting patterns. But only 2.5% felt that they themselves would be influenced.
