Conference organizers will be handing out prizes to five promising, young scientists and entrepreneurs, aged 40 or below, whose work, in some way, touches upon Jerusalem. Some of the fields represented are medicine, biotechnology, and other high-tech endeavors.
One of the five prizes will be dedicated to a social project as means of encouraging young scientists to work towards strengthening Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
The prize winners are selected by a committee headed by Professor Yosef Bodenheimer, president of the prestigious Jerusalem College of Technology.
This year’s Jerusalem Conference will take place at the Regency Hotel in Jerusalem from March 20-22 (Adar 20-22). The conference generally examines economic, political, and security, and social issues relating to the State of Israel, its Jewish identity, domestic agenda, and foreign relations.
The Conference will be attended by leading academic figures, businessmen, influential rabbis and opinion makers, as well as political leaders from the entire political spectrum in Israel and from abroad.
