The Labor Party elections deadlock: Effie Shtenzler, chairman of the party\'s election committee, has resigned, following both sides\' rejection of his proposal to conduct revotes in 30 polling stations of their choice. Labor Secretary-General Raanan Cohen expressed the fear that the problem will have to be solved in the criminal courts. The Ben-Eliezer camp has accused the Burg camp of \"stealing\" the vote in several Druze polling stations; the latter have raised similar counter-accusations. At present, Avraham Burg is leading Binyamin Ben-Eliezer by over 1,000 votes in the race for party leader.
