Two Border Guard policemen were murdered and a third was lightly wounded shortly after midnight north of Kibbutz Bahan, inside pre-1967 Israel, not far from PA-controlled Tul Karem. One of the dead, Tzachi David, 19, of Tel Aviv, will be buried this afternoon in the Kiryat Sha\'ul Military Cemetery. The name of the second victim has not yet been released.
Following a drive-by shooting on a nearby road five days ago, Israeli motorists have basically stopped using the road, which passes between two Israeli-Arab villages. For this reason, police theorize that the terrorists did not shoot this time at a random vehicle, which would be likely to be driven by Arabs, but rather into the Border Guard base. The army\'s investigation shows that the policemen fired back, but were killed in the ensuing exchange of fire.
